  1. Did some updates to Damian's Untapped Rage. This version was made well before the short wheelbase one that is being used in SMRA was made, it just never got released for one reason or another. But since SSRS is coming up, he wanted it to be released since this truck will be more competitive. Also, there is one very unique thing about this truck; it has a front four link node beam. Now for those who are confused or don't know what I'm talking about, the node beam was made so it would handle like these real life trucks. (huge props to Crazy for making the node beam) The chassis will be remodeled by Wambo later so that the four links mount in the proper spots and move like they should. Also be on the lookout for some more projects coming soon, some cool stuff is in the works.
  2. *Official Can-Am Racing Announcement* We are currently looking for a full time driver to fill the hole left by the departure of our former team owner RKM. If you are interested in joining CAR, please message me with your resume and explain why you'd be a good fit for us; but there are things that come with making the move to our team. First and foremost, if we bring you in, you will be driving Liquidator; the truck that RKM was gonna drive. That means that if you own your own truck, that truck will be parked; and then you'll have a decision to make. You can either keep ownership of your truck so that you have a truck still available if things don't work out, or if your tired of owning your own truck, you can sign over ownership of the truck to us; but keep in mind that if you do that, everything that goes with the truck (including the name) will then belong to us 100%. That means that if you sign over your truck but things don't work out, you'll be without a truck of your own to run; unless you've earned enough money to build another truck or get hired on by another team. Just keep those things in mind while trying to make your decision. Also, the body shop at Can-Am Racing currently is empty; so if anyone is looking for paint work, send us a message and we'll see what we can do. Base price for a paint job is $3,000, and the price could go up depending on the complexity of what you want painted.
  3. Can-Am Racing: $292,080 Green Lantern/Canadian Crippler: $53,723 Overkill Evolution: $43,588 El Chupacabras/Newedle: $21,509 (end budget for these 2 is the same as it was the week prior due to neither truck running this past week.)
  4. Can-Am Racing: $194,769 Green Lantern/Scrapper: $33,995 Overkill Evolution/Canadian Crippler: $39,360 El Chupacabras/Newedle: $21,509 Gave Dalton Widner $1,200 for driving Scrapper in Alabama/Baltimore.
  5. Can-Am Racing: $99,905 Green Lantern/Scrapper: $26,119 Canadian Crippler/Overkill Evolution: $24,960 El Chupacabras/Newedle: $6,579 I gave half of the booking fee for Scrapper to Mark Iron for filling in at Orlando.
  6. Well, I guess I can blab a few words and tell the tale of how I came to be a member here. But I'll leave the story of how I became a monster truck fan for later, not enough space to tell that story lol. It all started back around 2011, shortly after I joined a little thing called facebook. As I started gaining friends on there, I noticed that a lot of them were playing some sort of game that included monster trucks; and while I had no clue what it was initially, it blew everything else I had seen previous out of the water. After asking around, I found out that the game I was seeing was called Rigs of Rods; and shortly there after, I started taking the steps to download the game and ended up joining this site. But all of the excitement came to a halt when the game wouldn't load stuff properly, among other problems; and after getting royally pissed off, I deleted the game off of my computer and wiped my hands of the game and the site (as proof, my only post for well over a year was my "hello to everyone" post lol). But I still couldn't help but drool over all of the amazing trucks and tracks that kept popping up in photos and videos, that's when I got some help from my buddy Tyler Remieres. He helped me set up the game properly and taught me the basics of controlling the trucks, from then on it was just me having to practice. I started out doing a lot of fun runs on cifpo, and actually picked up my first win there; freestyle at Reno 2012 driving the Mopar Ram truck. More fun run wins followed until I finally came across my first league, RoR Big Dawgs. I proceeded to run the entire season and got my first ever league win at Houston 2011 3rd stop, if I remember correctly; after all was said and done, I made a good accounting of myself, got nominated for a few awards, and won sportsman of the year. Then it became time to take the next step, which was running in Sim-Monsters sanctioned leagues, fun runs, and special events. To that end, I signed up to run in ORL with my first ever custom truck known as Shark Attack (which also led to me discovering my passion for painting trucks, but I'll get into that later), and tried to qualify for Mayhem In Christmas Village; though the latter didn't go well due to computer issues, and the fact that I didn't realize the course was made of ice lol. But I did redeem myself later when I qualified for AME3 with a custom truck that to this day is still my favorite, and holds a lot of meaning for me; that being Bad Dawg. After a decent showing in AME3, I continued on racing in ORL and other various leagues; those being IDS and CFMTS, the latter being where I picked up my first SM sanctioned league win. All the while slowly and surely improving my painting skills, to the point that I actually started to get recognition for said skills. Things were going well until the fateful day that I finished working on a custom truck called Wicked Destruction, and boy did it ever live up to that name. I say that because somewhere along the way with all of the file transfers back and forth, viruses and rootkits were placed in the zip; and they did a number on my computer. So much so that I had to do a full system restore and wasn't able to do anything RoR related for over a month, with repeated attempts to try to re-install the game. But luckily after awhile, the game was finally able to re-install and I was able to resume my RoR activities; starting with finishing up ORL (winding up 9th in points), running in some other leagues (including DJM, RoR:MD, RTR and MRoR), and continuing to improve on my paint skills while picking up a win or 2 here and there. But during this time, I (along with many others) undertook a big challenge; that being running full time in SSRS. It's easily the toughest league I've ever run in, and the top league on the site. Week after week, I ran Virginia Giant as hard as I could, and in the end made the playoffs and finished top 10 in points there as well; one of my biggest achievements to date. But little did I know what was to come when I undertook doing something that I already failed at once. A little before the end of the SSRS regular season, me and Damian Bowers were discussing league ideas and he presented the idea of a racing only league; I thought it could work, and decided to give running a league of my own a second try. Despite my fears of the league failing within the first 3 weeks, it thrived and we made it throughout the entire schedule and are coming back for season 2. The biggest surprise to me was the fact that I ended up winning the overall points title, my first ever championship in this deal; and while you would think I'd be overjoyed for winning said championship, I wasn't at all. Since it was my own league, it felt cheap to me; almost like I rigged it, even though I didn't and fought to make sure everything was on the up and up. I've gotten more enjoyment out of the win as of late, but I still want to win a championship in a league other than my own; then I'll feel like I've truly done something as a racer in this deal. One other thing I've had a hand in that I take a good bit of pride in doing were the Hump Day Shootouts, a series of fun runs that Mark Colineri and I hosted. They were a huge success and some of the most fun I've had during my time in this game, and I hope to do more of them someday. Now I will say that with all of the good times, they were a fair share of bad as well; FM3 being the worst that I can remember. But all in all, I've really enjoyed my time around here and I've made a bunch of friends as an added bonus; and I hope to contribute more to the community as time moves along, if I can ever freakin' figure out blender.....
  7. File Name: CMD Racing Signature Chassis File Submitter: DirtyDawg File Submitted: 11 Mar 2014 File Category: Truck Building Items This is the CMD Racing Signature Chassis, and it's development has gone down a rather interesting road. This chassis started out as a pencil and paper drawing I did 2 to 3 years ago, and it's one of the few chassis I've designed that I actually liked the looks of and thought could work as a real life chassis; and after discussing a few things with Kozak, it was brought to life. It was originally gonna be used for my personal custom truck Mr. Beardman, but since that project has gone in a different direction, I figured I'd release it for others to use. All I ask is that credit is given where it's due, and that the NKO and CMD chassis tags ARE NOT removed from the chassis; they were put there for a reason. Also, please note that a PDN file was included to help with the texturing of the chassis. Credits are as follows: Chassis concept and design were done by your's truly. Construction of the chassis was done by Kozak. Fine tuning of the model by Crazyman. Click here to download this file
  8. I believe that is going to become Rambo.
  9. File Name: Scrapper 2 File Submitter: DirtyDawg File Submitted: 04 Mar 2014 File Category: V4 Customs Here's the new version of Beau Smith's personal custom, which is based off of his real life mud truck; Can-Am Racing, CMD Racing, and Jon Cannon Motorsports present Scrapper 2. Beau wanted something new and different from the previous version, and that's what he got; this thing is all new from top to bottom. Please note that since this is Beau's personal custom, he has dibs on it for all SM sanctioned leagues and fun runs; if you wanna use it, you gotta ask his permission first. Also, please note that this truck isn't stand alone; you must download Beau's sound pack for it to work. Credits are as follows: Paint by your's truly. Body by Doughboy. Chassis by Kozak. Rims by Johan. Tires by Klayton. Construction of the truck by Cannon. Everything else to SM pack makers. If I missed someone, I sincerely apologize. Click here to download this file

  11. I love the look of this thing, but it does need a little extra "something". Now from what I can tell, you have realistic flames on the hood. I would add some more of said flames here and there, like maybe around the rear wheel well; and maybe some off of the front of the front fenders. Here are some reference pics to go along with what I'm suggesting, as a visual aid. I've said numerous times that I'm not a fan of Zombie or the new El Diablo, but I can't say enough about how well you guys are doing making these trucks; I really wish I had just an ounce of the talent that some of you guys have. Keep up the good work fellas.
  12. What you call really bad/dull I call clean and cool, though each truck could use a little something extra with their schemes; but overall, great work on those dude. Man does that thing look sick, great job by everyone who helped with that bad mamma jamma.
  13. I completely agree with both RKM and Demko on this. I would normally (and have) stay out of these arguments mainly for the fact of them being more of a headache than anything, but I've gotta pipe up now cause it's getting ridiculous. I've only been active on this site for a little over a year, and I've learned quite a few things along the way; mostly good things from the friends I've made on here that have helped me in the quality of my paint work, and I'm still improving as we speak. But the biggest thing that I've learned is that Harlow never ceases with his overbearing loathing of anything that doesn't meet his perfect stepford wives standards. Not only that, but his seemingly endless carrot dangling of content that will never see the light of day because of one excuse or another; though I think it's actually because their sole purpose is to feed his own insatiable ego. To top that off, he seems to have some sort of disdain for RKM, his content, and (as Demko stated) publicly attacks everything he has made on a fairly consistent basis. I think I can speak for most folks on here when I say that this crap is getting really old, and that it needs to stop. I am perfectly fine with and endorse constructive critique, and I have noticed here and there that he has offered actual helpful advise (though it's few and far between); but the pointless Simon Cowell like bashing is not needed around here anymore in my opinion. If your not going to contribute to this community in a good meaningful way, then please do us all a favor and take your leave of this forum.
  14. I echo what Kozak and Bernier have said, and you can be sure that The Beardman will finally be finished and ready for the start of the season.
  15. I said it before, and I'll say it again; simply incredible work. I can say for a fact that at least one (if not both) of these tracks will be used in the upcoming RoR Mt Pro season this fall.
  16. Also, I forgot to mention that the body was made by Klayton; my bad on that.
  17. File Name: Green Lantern File Submitter: DirtyDawg File Submitted: 18 Feb 2014 File Category: V4 Customs In darkest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight! Let all who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's light! Welp, this one has been a real labor intensive build; but it was worth it in the end. I present to one and all my ride for SMRA, The Green Lantern! The idea behind this truck was simply this: what if the comic book deals (with DC in particular) with Feld were expanded? This is the first results of that concept, and with how well it turned out, I believe there will be more to come. This is easily the best truck I've had any hand in making, and I hope you all have fun driving it; and big thanks go out to Crazy for putting this truck together (By the way, I reserve the right to run this truck in SMRA; but it's fair game in all other leagues that allow customs.) Credits are as follows: Concept and paintwork to your's truly. Axles, steering knuckles, transfer case, transmission, radiator and fans, oil coolers, rii lights, rear kill switch, ISP seat, wheels and split shield made by Crazy. Shocks, headers, and chassis made by Kozak. Engine made by Wilkinson. Body and tires by Klayton. Fuel cell made by Johan. Gauges by McCauley. If there's anyone I missed, I apologize sincerely. 20. Here's a little update from the Crazyman Motorsports shop, one of the facilities utilized by Can-Am Racing. After extensive testing and fine tuning, Green Lantern is ready to go. Huge thanks to our shop foreman and head crew guy Michael Murray Jr. for helping to get this thing put together.
  21. There are two things I see that need some fixing. First thing is that the edging that separates the military green from the riveted metal is bright green, not black; see pic below. Secondly, ur missing the POW-MIA decal that's on the back of the bedsides; again, see below pic. Lastly, make sure you have this decal on the tailgate.
  22. Here's the latest project to roll out of the CMD Racing shop, I present Dave Collard's new Skull Crusher. Please note that this is not the final product, I simply threw the skin onto Raminator to see what it would look like in game; this bad mamma jamma will be getting a new CRD.
  23. Not sure why it's doing this, but this is how the track looks when I spawn it in game.
