I don't know if I'll ever release this pack at the rate I'm going. Anyway, I commit myself into driving Ice Breaker for RORSPS but realized pretty quickly that the truck drove like crap. The Bronco's drive pretty nice and my times were much better in them. So, Ice Breaker II is born! This time with 100% less Santa hats.

Finally got around to finishing up the Bronco's. These 4 are done and ready for release but I've been debating adding another classic monster skin to this pack, specifically Kimosabe. I'm not really sure what the interest levels are of that or even of this pack in general! Upvote if you think I should just release now as-is, a heart if you want more skins and ignore this post entirely if you don't care.

Picked this project back up after shelving it almost a year ago... Been in a Leafer mood lately, so I really wanted to finally finish one of few major trucks missing from the Leafer packs, the 1991 Snake Bite! Progress has been pretty good. I still hate the body and paint, but I don't have the ability to improve upon either one of them so I doubt they'll change. Anyway, I'm finally starting to like the way the truck looks!

Been awhile since i've worked on the 2021 Bronco pack. I think i've previously shown No Problem!, Big Mudder and WildTrak. This is the 4th and final Bronco - Miss Di.Meanor! It's a RoR remake of my first (and only) MTM2 truck. I've also finally been able to iron out some issues I was having with the body. Its getting closer to being done now!

Fun fact, all I did for both of these trucks is extend, shorten or edit some models like the 4links, axles or swaybar-links. Makes me extra happy cause I won't have to ask every ror vet who made this 7 year old rod. Every single mesh is originally in Edy's NAMT version.

I completely forgot that I was supposed to work on these for you, glad you were able to get it done! For something that looks like it should be pretty simple, that's a good amount of work. Nice job!

Couple of Bronco Skins.

WildTrak is the top end Bronco model and I used the graphics package as inspiration. Lots of plastic and I tried to make it look like that in the truck.

BIG MUDDER is a custom skin, I'd be shocked if anyone knows where I got the inspiration from. Its real shiny, doesn't look great in pictures because of that.

MISS DI.MEANOR is started, but the paint is giving me trouble so its not ready to show.

Less artsy, more clear image of the 2021 No Problem! updated it to make it look a lot more like its 1993 counterpart. I might attempt to change the color of the axle to yellow (surprisingly hard on NAMT) but otherwise its essentially done.

I'm hoping to make a few more skins on this body next. We're coming up on the 1 year anniversary of my first ever monster truck build, Miss Di.Meanor for MTM2. Since that truck was a re-skin of No Problem, it only makes sense to finally bring it over into RoR as well to celebrate! I've got some other skin ideas in mind too, we'll see how far I get.

Ford unveiled the new Bronco for 2021 and all I could think about was what a new "No Problem!" would look like on it! Pretty darn cool I'd say!

My 2 cents from someone who joined the community less then a year ago.

So far, I've loved being apart of this community, but what I liked the most about it and what has kept me as an active member was the Discord server. Had these ideas which are being implemented been in place a year ago when I joined, I would likely not be here today to write this.

First off, I do like the idea of creating a new discord server which is linked to the sim-monsters. That will be great for keeping the riff-raff off of the discord and also keep discord linked to the site in a meaningful way. It will also be much more manageable for the admins. A ban on discord could also mean a ban on the website!

One thing that I have loved about the leadership of SM since I joined is that there has always been a big push to move the scene and the community forward. This was very evident in the new NAMT settings which are aimed to make the trucks feel more realistic. They obviously aren't complete yet, but I feel like they really do move the community is a great new direction. With that said, moving the discord servers BACK to the forum goes completely against this philosophy. There is a reason that everyone stopped using the forum in favor of the Discord server in the first place and there is a reason that forum's aren't popular on the internet anymore. They're slow and you can't have an immediate conversation on them. Furthermore, they rarely work well on phones and mobile devices.

Forcing the community back onto late 2000s/early 2010s technology instead of keeping up with modern internet trends (Discord) will be detrimental to the community of Sim-Monsters. Much of what you wrote as a reason for doing this is simply not true. Forum's are not more accessible then discord. Searching for anything on this website has always been the worst thing about the SM experience. Discussions are slow on forums and aren't a place which provides instant gratification. Lastly, I don't really think the majority of this community cares about imaginary internet points.

I hope that my views are taken into consideration and same channels which are popular on the current discord will also be apart of the new Discord. Channels like SYP, Screenshots and more should continue to be part of our community. 

All of the other new stuff sounds great though and I'm definitely excited to try out the Anti-Cheat and the new RoR version!

Sim-Monsters needs to continue to move forwards, not move backwards!

This truck was truly in a class above all the other contest trucks. The construction and the paint were fantastic. It had some new props on it and unique lane indicators. The truck is also very close to its real life replica! It was like the other trucks in this contest were non-existent compared to the real life truck. Just no realism at all! Second place in this contest will not even be mentioned due to them not receiving a single point in any category. Bearly Tame was the only truck with a positive score from the judges! It received this score by actually being submitted. Truly remarkable!

BIG MODERN TRUCK BUILDING JAMBOREE

The results of the poll is in! We will be building modern era trucks from 2015-present. Thanks everyone for voting! Truck building starts.... NOW!

RULES:

TRUCK: Replica Monster Truck from 2015-2020 which competed in any competition during that time period. (Monster Jam, Monster Wars, Hotwheels Live, etc).

TIME: Truck needs to be submitted and approved to sim-monsters.com for download by December 14th.

SETTINGS: V4 Only. Sorry NAMT fans! Breakable allowed.

BUILD DETAILS: Props may be sourced from other trucks or completely built from scratch. Reskinning a pre-built truck is not allowed. Truck must be assembled and painted by the same person.

LIMITS?: None, build as many trucks as you want. Each truck will be judged separately and against each other with a separate truck counting as a single .truck file. Even if they are in the same .zip file. If they are combined in a truck file it counts as one truck.

HOW TO JOIN: Simply reply to this thread with this information or send this information over private message.

COMPETITION CATEGORIES:

First, before we list each category up for grabs, lets talk about how judging will happen!

In each category, Up to 3 trucks will be nominated as winners by a small panel of judges. These 3 winners will then be placed into a public poll where everyone can then decide who the overall winner is! One truck can be nominated for multiple categories.

BEST OVERALL REPLICA- The most coveted award. The truck which is the most Replica accurate, fun to drive and precisely built. All entries are eligible for this category.

BEST ROOKIE BUILD - Only New builders who have submit 1 or fewer trucks to Sim-monsters are eligible to win this category. Rookie Builders Only.

MOST FUN TO DRIVE - It may not look the best, but it sure can do some sweet moves on the track and has some awesome features! All entries are eligible for this category.

BEST BUILDER -  Awarded to the author, not the truck. Will be awarded to the builder who goes above and beyond in this contest. As an example, maybe that is through impressive modeling, multiple truck releases or showcasing new truck RoR technology. All entries are eligible for this category.

BEST PRIZE TRUCK - Wanna win $50 of my money? Anyone who selects that they want to be eligible for a prize is entered in this category. There will be no public vote for this category. Winner will be judged & selected by WorpeX. Must be 18+ with PayPal.  Prize Eligible Drivers Only.

NOTE: The primary goal for this contest is for fun and for their to be many winners. Hopefully just receiving a nomination for any category will feel like an achievement!

OK So this has been a pretty terrible year all around in the world but here at Sim-Monsters, I would argue we've had the greatest year yet! Now you might say, "WorpeX, you've only been here for half a year!". Well, you'd be correct! I have absolutely zero frame of reference! It's been kinda great for me though. I really enjoyed it. Actually, I lost my train of thought on this completely. Let me restart.

In the discord we've been talking about how cool it would be to make a truck making competition! I drew the short straw, which means I got to start the competition up. Well, theoretical short straw. See, on discord we can't actually see each other. Like, its sorta social distanced that way. Anyway, it wasn't even actual straws. I did volunteer. I think. Unless Terron forced me to post this.
