  1. It's also a byproduct of one of their newer sponsors (relatively speaking), BKT. The tires they produce aren't nearly as durable as the Goodyears or Ukraine's that were used previously, and are known to absolutely shred on contact with metal, particularly the sharp edges. An example:
  2. Look through the eyes of the FOX Sports 1 cameraman as Cole Venard makes his Vegas debut!
  3. Linsey Weenk getting a bit sideways during his backflip attempt!
  4. Kelvin Ramer getting a little wild in freestyle!
  5. I may be going out on a limb a bit here but FELD may be cracking down on the livestreams and YouTube videos because they're making their own service for the sort. All of their partners have had something like this in the past, FOX being the current one, and their entertainment rivals have it too. FELD has been putting up an absurd amount of videos on YouTube this year, probably just to test if they would get attention. Nowadays people spend more time on the internet than on TV, and making a subscription based "network" is a great way to capitalize on that. Just my thoughts. Definitely more hopeful than realistic, but who knows.
  6. My guess is that Buyten gets his spot due to it being Todd's original spot, with Todd in Damon's. They didn't want to rework the field (and by rework I mean figure out another truck to compete) so they just switched the drivers out.

  8. Also not FS1 West, this is just a stadium tour with no automatic berth given.
  9. I sadly wouldn't trust MonsterJam.com for accurate pictures of their own trucks.
  10. Also, not sure if this was mentioned, Colton's backflip attempt went way to the right because he had lost drive in the rear right on his save prior. Couple that with the fact that the ramp was throwing trucks towards the dumpsters all night long, and you're in for a wild ride.
  11. Load up Rigs of Rods, go into the settings tab in-game, under "General" is a box labeled "Arcade Controls". Disable this (uncheck) and you should be good to go.
  12. FELD still has all the bodies that Marc didn't destroy. There's quite a few since he's much better at keeping them in one piece than most. Might as well use em up.
  13. Ignoring problems with your projects when people tell you about them is an excellent way to not improve.
  14. Looks pretty accurate to the render, and I assume the scheme was changed because of the gun on the side? EDIT: didn't see the above post when I put this up there, so pardon my ignorance.
  15. Not nearly as awful as some other things on this thread, but there are still a few things I think are worth investing in fixing: Texture fixing (the rims, tie rods, seat and hedders on those pictures) Prop realignment (shocks and tires) Update / fix the paint a bit, the most obvious in that picture is changing the Monster Jam logo Other things - I'd remove the bowtie if you want it to be as up-to-date as possible, and I also don't think you can call it the "2017 Version" without the new body Hope this helps!
  16. Awesome job, great work on these.
  17. I do like the concept of the broken caution tape, but my biggest gripe with it is the red. It just makes no sense to me.
  18. Landon Wells driving the truck is a complete lie, also Adam drove it in Foxboro 2014, not Pauken. Dennis drove it in Atlanta 2014, Weenk at Anaheim III that same year, and Damon (?) at Jacksonville as well.
  19. New Truck- Over Bored New Scheme- Does Fluffy count? Rookie- Tyler Menninga New Venue- Plymouth Speedway Save- Ryan Anderson, Minneapolis Air- Damon Bradshaw, East Rutherford (not the highest by any means, but the coolest by far) Wheelie- Marc McDonald, San Antonio Race of the year- Dennis Anderson vs Damon Bradshaw, Foxborough Driver to watch- Bryan Wright, Hooked Stadium freestyle of the year- Adam Anderson - FS1 Anaheim Arena freestyle of the year- Anything by Tyler Menninga as of late Crash Madness- Snakebite vs Red Solo Truck, Wildwood
  20. Since this is the Monster Jam Roast session, I guess I'll chime in with a few comments. I'm not a super hardcore fan. I like the shows for their entertainment value, and will go to one because I want to see something cool, hence why I think spending that absurd amount of money for a two and a half hour (if you're lucky) show is worth it. FELD Entertainment is doing a very good job at appealing to the vast majority of people who go to their shows, those who have little to no knowledge of what has been expected of those very same shows in years prior. For everyone else, those who have followed the sport for years, they are left feeling like they have been cheated due to little things here and there, such as track design (not a "little thing", but my point stands). They are simply shifting their money from in-show specifics and spectacles to marketing and locale. It's a great decision in terms of business, and they are actually gaining fans by doing this, most notably seen this year in Osaka. Those of us who follow the shows week in and out are at a net loss, however. We know what to expect, and when something changes (the tracks, for instance) that isn't as good as what it was, that expectation isn't met. I love monster trucks, I wouldn't be in this community if I didn't, and I love Monster Jam, but to myself and the rest of the more "advanced" fans, FELD appears to by trying to change that opinion of ours. TL;DR - Strawberries aren't actually berries, just how Monster Jam isn't a jelly company
  21. A pair of replica shots from me as well: Also this:
