  1. The Boy Scouts of America deal was only a one time deal just for a display. It was never going to be a full time competition ride. BSOA just sponsored the body and got it wrapped for the one display and that was it. Seasock along with Whit Tarlton and Norm Miller won't be driving for 2015.
  2. All it really is is being an assistant to the announcer during the pit party.
  3. That truck is in no way affiliated with Flirtin' With Disaster Racing. Tim Mente started FWDR in 2003 (I believe) when he first bought Taurus #3 and campaigned it as Storm Damage. He expanded to two trucks in 2010.
  4. The freshly revamped Hurricane Force chassis just got back from powder coating today and is now ready to be painted and assembled. There are BIG things coming from Flirtin' With Disaster Racing for 2015, keep an eye out for what's to come with HF.
  5. The rainbow scaled scheme was actually still on the body underneath the newer scheme from the pictures I saw the team post on Facebook. When I talked to the owner, he said that it would be a totally new scheme, but the same body mold. The chassis is also undergoing quite a few changes and upgrades for 2015.
  6. And it's going to be coming back in 2015 with a new body (same mold, new scheme) and a bunch of updates. This new owner is serious about putting Reptoid back on the map.

  8. Knucklehead will be running in 2015 with Zoltan driving at quite a few shows, but in terms of first quarter Monster Jam running, that's still up in the air yet.
  9. Me and a few others on the team were tossing around the idea of seeing Iron Warrior on a '14 Super Duty body, but it's just going to be a '08 F150 that's vinyl wrapped for 2015. It was airbrushed for a few years but now they're making it vinyl. And yes, I am working on a Vaters Motorsports pack. Gonna have Stallion, Warrior, and Education and a few different versions of each one. Iron Warrior is getting some updates for 2015 in terms of chassis and cosmetics, so I'm making a 2014 and 2015 version for the pack. I'll be posting more update screenshots shortly.
  10. I agree with Aaron. The ramps just seem a tad bit too light in color compared to the ground sand. Tone em' down a bit, and then it'll look real nice. And, to keep to realism, you should drag the rear set of boardwalks out just a little bit away from the bleachers to make that area more like the actual space. And hell, if you're up to it, make the bathroom building and the little dune of sand by the corner of the rear set of boardwalks and Morey's Pier. But that might be pushing it. Haha. Great job otherwise, Nick.
  11. XXX: State of Destruction and Rap Attack are there as well. Five show tour with the promoter Monster Trucks Brazil, and 15 shows are in the works for 2015.
  12. Monster Jam is the safest promotion out there, bar none. My last concern at any of their arena shows is safety, because they make it so comforting for the fans as well as anyone in the pits that safety isn't a "main" concern, per say. And they're not adding more obstacles, because the obstacles they plan on using are going take as much square footage on an arena floor as a standard two car stack/dirt hill set up. And they only say more crashes because it's what gets the fans excited (unfortunately). If there isn't a flashy 3D body or crashing at an event, then the average Monster Jam fan will think the event sucked. Trust me, safety is not a concern here. And the shows are going to kick ass, period. And Monster Jam's standards can be high for an event like this because they've done weeks worth of testing with these drivers, trucks, and tracks; so they can back up their statements.
  13. Person that runs it is good friends with the guys at Monster Truck Throwdown, All Star Monster Truck Tour, and Toughest Monster Truck Tour. That's all I know.
  14. 225K isn't that bad for those trucks. Not too expensive, but also not too dirt cheap.
  15. It's the same reason why there's four stagnant El Toro Locos, three different versions of Monster Mutt, and 8 Grave Diggers. Merchandise, merchandise, merchandise.
  16. Bill Braukmann isn't driving anymore. His son Billy and his daughter Jessica are taking over driving for the team. Jessica is driving Be Aware and Billy is driving Shockwave. Bill is going to be at each show, but just playing the "owner" and mentor role.
  17. Lee's not sure if he'll be driving next year, so Lee's still iffy on any seats at the moment.
  18. Doom's Day will become a full blown competition truck for 2015 with a full time driver with a "public identity". No more secretive crap. It'll be a legit truck come 2015. It's touring with Cleatus.
