  1. It was Backwards Bob. Grave Digger was salvaged from the fire but Backwards Bob was destroyed. Fortunately, the toter home was unattached to the trailer during the time of the fire, so no one was injured. But the trailer... same can't be said.
  2. Gotta scooch that transfer case forward a bit, put the newer Coan transmission model on it, fix the blower straps to where the end of them attach to the top main rail on the chassis, move the base of the headers up a bit on the engine head, and also make that the rearward facing shaft on the bottom of the transfer case gets pushed forward until the end of it matches up with the end of the cradle.
  3. Your win tracker makes me develop testicular cancer. Good job, otherwise.
  4. And my Photoshop skills are "on fleek"...
  5. There's a driver side seat and a passenger side seat. Same set-up as American Bad Ass/Canadian Tough Guy.
  6. Zombie Hunter is touring with Lupe Soza's El Toro Loco, so if Lupe and Toro is scheduled there, then you will be seeing this too.
  7. X-Pogo is love, X-Pogo is life.
  8. This is where is gets confusing for me, because on the results page, those points aren't counted towards the total. I'll have to ask around and see what's up with that.
  9. Since I'll be behind-the-scenes at the Monster Jam show coming up at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ, I'll be willing to take any pictures needed of the following trucks: Grave Digger #23 Dragon Crushstation Stinger Bounty Hunter Iron Outlaw Storm Damage Hurricane Force Please private message me on here for what pictures you'll need. If you post it on this thread, I'll more than likely miss it. I want to get everyone's requests organized, so if you're in need of these reference pictures, private message me and I'll try my best to make it happen for you.
  10. Just because there are 8 Feld owned trucks and 8 independently owned trucks doesn't mean that the independents don't have a chance to win. That's your assumption. Anybody has a chance on this tour as long as they run to the best of their abilities. Each truck has a chance because each truck is very capable to taking a win; there are no real slouches on this tour.
  11. The other eight trucks were there as extra trucks for the separate freestyle thing to make Houston a real big kick off to the championship series. The trucks that competed in the mini-freestyle competition (Metal Mulisha, Spike, Mega Bite, The Rod Ryan Show, Outlaw, After Shock, Krazy Train, Barbarian) will not be on the points series. They were just there to spice up the show and make it a bigger one. And Son-uva Digger wasn't in Houston; Ryan was in Nashville, TN this weekend.
  12. The new format is rather easy to understand (at least it is for me). On the FS1 Championship Series, there are 16 trucks (8 Feld-owned, 8 independents). They start off the show with qualifying. The top 8 times from qualifying make it into the racing bracket and the bottom 8 do an obstacle course competition. For the obstacle course, each truck goes out one at a time and runs on a specially designed obstacle course utilizing the obstacles on the track (including freestyle obstacles). The fastest in the obstacle course earns 1 point towards their series total. I forgot to mention that the fastest qualifier also earns 1 point towards their series total. In racing, the top 8 bracket race (round one, semi-finals, finals), and the winner of the bracket earns 2 points towards their series total. Then, all 16 trucks perform in freestyle (90 seconds regulations with 30 bonus) and can earn a regulation score between 4 and 40 (6 judges, high/low scores get dropped and middle scores get totaled up) and then have the chance to earn 5 extra bonus points. The winner of freestyle gets 2 points towards their series total. Right now, Dustin Brown in Monster Mutt is leading the series with 3 points because he won obstacle course and freestyle. Charlie Pauken in Grave Digger is second with 2 points for winning racing, and Chuck Werner in El Toro Loco is third with 1 point for being the fastest qualifier. Hope this clears it up a bit.
  13. They had eight other trucks on hand that were not there to compete in the FS1 Championship Series. Those eight trucks had their own little freestyle show where it was kind of like everybody versus Todd LeDuc (a.k.a. just a regular freestyle competition with Todd going last, they only said that because it's a shnazzy name for the freestyle champ). Todd won that little deal, then they went on with the show.
  14. Not true. Almost every dirt arena is going to have a set up like Trenton with at least four contests, sometimes five.
  15. Mike is going to run the Safety-Kleen Black Stallion body on his truck, then Matt is going to run the Iron Warrior body on his truck.
  16. Pretty neat, simple idea... except for the fact that the transmission ruins the whole thing.
  17. Lee is still supposed to be driving, despite him not being in the yearbook and him being removed. He'll be touring with Lupe Soza for six weeks then his truck is getting shipped overseas. This whole situation is very strange, but when I talked to Lee last, he said he's still in.
  18. Two from the More Monster Jam tour will be going into the World Finals, not just one anymore.
  19. Mike is still using his own chassis, but it's just painted black. I believe the beadlocks will be black, as well.
  20. Gary Porter... donut champion... in the same sentence? I'm floored.
