  1. Feld still owns quite a few EcoWork tires, but Randy Brown put about a 16 inch long slash in his left rear tire on Saturday night, so that's one down. He had Bill Braukmann (owner of Shockwave and Be Aware) bring down one of Shockwave's Goodyear tires and rims to use as a replacement left front wheel (they moved around the wheels).
  2. I don't like the body, at all. I only respect the fact that they stuck to the same logo and paint scheme. Now, since they really felt the need to stick with using a recycled concept mold, they should have at least finished the body off to make it look the best it can; and by finish I mean putting on headlight and taillight decals. I don't like the hood either; should have just been red with nothing on it honestly. To see the name return is awesome, and to see Gary take the reigns of it is awesome, but there could have been a little more done to it.
  3. Homemade RII box, fuel and power pumps, and back up camera = check.
  4. The shows won't be live since Houston will be airing on the 11th and the actual show happens on the 3rd. And Monster Jam has always been legitimate...
  5. That's terrible to hear Johan. I hope you and your family have a great Christmas otherwise, and happy holidays.
  6. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanzaa. Still needs some modeling and texturing work, and the body needs to get done too. Getting this truck completely done then onto the next one... Iron Warrior.
  7. I still don't know the full logistics and inner-workings of the stadium points series tour, but all I know is that there is supposed to be 9 weekends at 9 stadiums with 9 similar line-ups (with minor changes).
  8. That was in Indianapolis, IN back in 2005. He didn't continue driving after he lost both rears.
  9. I don't consider that losing two wheels really, because it's way worse than losing just two wheels.
  10. I have seen trucks lose more than one wheel before, but never continue. It doesn't make any sense to continue going with only two wheels left. If I were a driver, I would never continue even if I only lost one wheel. It's not worth it trying to keep going and risking more axle damage than there already is. Besides that, this year, I can name one case where two wheels were lost in a freestyle (and on one hit too). It was Brad Allen driving the Team Scream Racesource chassis (can't remember if it had the Brutus or Mega Bite body on it) at a show at Nutty Jerry's in Texas, and he had a big launch off of a bus stack and when he landed, I think both right side wheels came off like nothing.
  11. They still have Lee O'Donnell and Chad Fortune's rides to announce, as far as I know.
  12. Who needs shocks when you're Neil Elliott?
  13. We would all like to see John Seasock have a truck to drive for 2015. I don't know a single person who doesn't want that to happen. I'm not sure what the decision was (whether it was mutual or a strict business decision), but ultimately, Feld along with any other major company has to do what is best for their company to keep it alive and kicking. Why are there 5 El Toro Locos running in the first quarter of 2015? Merchandise sales. El Toro Loco is a very popular truck, thus why there are 4 strictly Feld-owned El Toro Locos and 1 of the red bodies is running on Dan Rodoni's chassis (just for the first quarter). Same with the fact that there are 2 Monster Mutt Rottweilers and Dalmatians, and only 1 regular Mutt. The Rottweiler and Dalmatian bodies are more popular than the regular Mutt body. And to further drive the point home, there are 8 Grave Diggers for a reason. Same for why there are 3 Max-Ds. Merchandise sales play an insanely major role in what trucks go where and how many trucks there are at certain shows. Money talks.
  14. As far as I know, yes. Things could change, but as of right now, that's the plan.
  15. Brutus ran at a few shows in 2014, and so did Mega Bite, Spike, Avenger, and Wrecking Crew. Every alias on Team Scream Racing has run this year. Lee has a brand new ride that will be running only the first six weekends before getting shipped overseas.
  16. I always preferred the yellow/black one that debuted earlier this year. It was simple, which can be pulled off very well with a mold like that.
  17. I was gonna post it, but I was too busy finishing up the new site. Speaking of that... shameless promoting, bro.
  18. The emblem on it just looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing Matt run this truck next year; it's going to be a nice clean truck.
  19. Stallion's Stable is getting a little stirred up this winter...
  20. There are going to be four trucks running from Vaters Motorsports in the first quarter of 2015. Higher Education is still going to be driven by Jim Tracey, Overkill Evolution is still going to be driven by Mike Vaters Jr., and Matt Cody is driving the Iron Warrior chassis for the first quarter but with the Black Stallion body on it. The announcement about Michael is coming sometime next week; I just need to talk to Mike and Matt about when it's good to release this information.
  21. Raminator and Rammunition don't run that style of chassis.
  22. My mom took me to Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ for the U.S. Diesel Truckin' Nationals and Motorsports Spectacular in September of 1999. I was only 11 months old at that point, so I had no idea what was going on. Apparently, I survived the whole show without crying or really being bad, but as soon as Grave Digger came out, I apparently started crying my eyes out. On May 26th, 2008, at around 5:30pm or so, I was sitting in my living room flipping through the channels on the TV when I came across Speed TV. As soon as that channel came on, I saw Damon Bradshaw flip U.S. Air Force Afterburner at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL in freestyle and then catching on fire. I thought it was interesting, so I watched the rest of the episode. At the end, it said to go to USHRA.com, so I did. I did my research, watched another new episode later that day, then I told my family about it. My aunt mentioned that there was a show going on at Raceway Park (which was less than a mile away from her house) in a few weeks. We went to that show, and ever since then, I was hooked.
