  1. He only drove Grave Digger at that event because Charlie wasn't in stable condition to drive after his very violent roll cage hit in Tampa the weekend prior.
  2. Ryan Anderson pinning the throttle at World Finals 14 when the spindle got bent up then eventually felt off was on his side with the underside facing the crowd scared the daylights out of some of my friends sitting in the section by it.
  3. It's all a matter of contracts too, though. I'm sure he won't stop being involved in monster trucks, but driving... eh. That's an iffy subject.
  4. I'm just extremely thankful that the MTRA (Monster Truck Racing Association) is innovating a brake shield to cover nearly the entire brake rotor in the event it were to get hot and potentially warp and break.
  5. I look at it like this - if the truck rolls over but there's enough momentum behind it to save it and the truck's still on, I understand if the driver goes for it and tries to save it. But when the truck is at a point where you know there's no coming back from it, don't peg the throttle out while the undercarriage is facing the crowd! It's stupid, in my books!

    Just for you, Sarcasti-Jack.
  7. If you're going to make that a replica, be sure to change the tires to Goodyears.
  8. Welcome to Sim-Monsters!
  9. Decent video of it eating $hit.
  10. There have been two different Bigfoots to run the large wheels, #5 and #7. #7 is down in Florida on display at some amusement park while #5 is still parked outside of Bigfoot 4x4, INC.'s shop. To add, Bigfoot #5 has already been made for Rigs of Rods. If you download Taurus Racer 13's Leafer Pack #1, it's in there. It's not the greatest, but the wheels are replicated to be really tall compared to the regular monster truck wheels.
  11. Raminator and Rammunition have since gotten a stretched cradle style of chassis, and Mopar Muscle will also be getting a new chassis at some point this year or next year.
  12. The two Mohawk Warrior chassis currently running are both CRDs (I believe, I know they are both lower CoG chassis, just not sure which is which). And I'm sure someone can make a node beam for the mohawk to move. If I knew how to do that, I'd gladly do it. I might consider this a project when I get time on my hands to start pounding out some more projects I have in mind.
  13. Dennis goes by five year contracts, from my understanding. His contract expires after the World Finals in 2017, so he will ride out the whole first quarter for the 35th anniversary. It's been talked about many times that he will call it quits after the Finals in 2017 since that's when his contract expires, but I have yet to hear it from his mouth yet that he'll be hanging up the fire suit at that point in time. When I hear it from him, I'll be 100% sure on it then.
  14. Tim Bee's brand new Killer Bee is just a few short steps away from being 100% completed! This will feature a Ford Raptor body with all airbrushed work done by the whiz of airbrushing and fiberglass work Trey Myers, and it will make its first official public appearance/competition debut this coming Saturday, July 26th!
  15. Name: Daniel Donnelly AIM: dandonmt@aol.com Monster Truck: Safety-Kleen Black Stallion Link: http://sim-monsters.com/index.php?/files/file/1435-black-stallion-2014-two-pack/ Requested Day: Friday, August 1st, 2014; I would prefer to be in Bracket #1 as well
  16. His roof scraped against the backflip ramp quite a bit before he came off of it, so that throws it into a recovery category in my opinion.
  17. Me and Devin Doss (Double.D) are working on the 2014 version of Equalizer, and here's a few screenshots of our progress on it so far! Devin did the graphics for the body, and Andrew Sheets (Andrew) made the body model, while I constructed and textured the chassis. I'm in the process of lining up all of the props as well as making some updated props specifically for this truck, and hopefully it will be up for release very shortly!
  18. Seeing as one wheel was already knocked off the axle, the tie rod is rendered useless regardless.
  19. So, this is becoming a thing. For those wondering, this is going to become Equalizer 2014.
  20. It's the display truck, and very shiny EcoWork tires. This was for a television show shoot featuring Jessi Combs.
  21. Nathan only drives when he's called to do so. He's not full-time. Chad, on the other hand, is a seasonal driver.
  22. He does Quad Wars now in Monster Jam.
  23. I understand that there is a rule for allowing the trucks to have a chance to save it when they rollover, but that's way too long without an RII, especially with the underside of the truck exposed to the crowd.
