It's incredibly dangerous to be as lenient with the rii as they've been. I agree that this board rags on Feld too much sometimes, but criticizing their RII practices is a very valid criticism. Hopefully they'll make some needed changes before somebody gets hurt.

Bump again. Like the above, I also dumped my V4 into a folder because the zip was too big for ROR to load. I've tried every suggestion I could find and I can't find the problem. The lexan and its spec are still transparent. In the case of trucks that had Lexan in the materials, I changed the material to the one Helen posted. I even cleared/regened the cache just in case. None of it worked. It happens with any truck that has Lexan.png and Lexan-spec.png; for example, the Willman version of Hot Wheels 2007, Thor, and the entire Max D pack. I'm completely out of ideas. EDIT- Well, this is weird. The Max D pack's lexan is working again. I have no idea how it happened; I don't recall actually making any changes to them. (The lexan is a managed material, and there's no lexan in the separate material files.) Other trucks that have Lexan.png still aren't working correctly. I'm just super confused now.

We should probably just count on nearly identical tracks for every stadium show at this point. It sucks, but that's the way FELD is going with MJ now. On a side note, I assume the ramp between the racing lanes is the one Tom will be landing on. I really hope that they put some cars on there or something, just so there's something to slow him down if he doesn't land it. It won't make a huge difference, but it's better than landing straight onto the dirt, I'm sure.

I'd say that the second part is why most of the drivers are in it. I met Steve Macklyn (former driver of Nitro Fish and the Halls Bros trucks) at the Rocky Mountain Raceway show last year. I happened to sit right in front of him, so I was able to chat with him a little bit between rounds. He basically said that, while driving the trucks was fun, making the kids happy really made it worth it.

Maybe. I just remember that, during the San Antonio show on TNN that year, they showed Rob beating the roof of the truck with a baseball bat for whatever reason. (I'd link to it, but the only version I could find on YouTube starts after that segment.) He didn't keep the helmet on or any of the other nonsense that they did later on. I just couldn't remember if they said Rob was driving, or if they pretended they didn't know who it was.

I might be mistaken, but didn't they say it was Rob Knell earlier that season? I seem to recall that they acknowledged it was him then started to do the "we don't know who it is" shtick, even though it was obviously Rob.

Change the name of the folder to "CRDTest" and the textures should be fine.

Thanks so much. ROR decides it doesn't want to load my V4 pack once it hits 2 GB. I was worried that I'd have to remake the whole pack to get it to work again, but unzipping it worked. It also doesn't give me the same problem where the trucks sometimes disappear from the selection menu when you add new ones.

IIRC Jim Koehler lost both rear wheels on one hit. No idea where it was, but I want to say it was 4 or 5 years ago.

I completely forgot about this madness until I found it randomly a few minutes ago... EDIT- NVM on the question I had. I asked what they were trying to do, but only watched the first 20 seconds of the video because I'm a dumbass. You have to admit, that would have been crazy if it went right.

I was first introduced to monster trucks when my parents rented "There Goes a Monster Truck" for me on VHS, but I was too young to even remember it (it was probably about 1996, so I was roughly a year old). My earliest distinct memory of anything monster truck related was watching USA Motorsports from Des Moines on TV in 1997. I still have it on tape somewhere, actually. I've been to more than 20 shows in my lifetime, from my first show at the E Center (now the Maverik Center) in about 1997 until RMR about 4 months ago.

IIRC he sold all of his race trucks a couple years ago. He may still have his ride trucks but I'm not sure about that.
