A few recent pix of my Wraith. Just finished repaiting the driver and getting him, and the homemade racing harnesses in the past couple days.

Had just added the scale stuff to the rear and zip tied the driver in here.

Got the truck cleaned up after those shot and back together with newly painted custom Axial tee for the driver and homemade five point racing harnesses.

Looking to get the truck back out today. Hopefully I'll be able to get some good action shot and have them up soon.

how much does one of those sexy things cost? and where could i get one without making it because im not good with all of that.

To build 1,000+

Buy (decent one) 600+. 600 is low end and would likely be a roller only.  Racer here sold a artr truck for 800ish just two races ago.

These are no stampedes, they arnt bashers. They can take a beating(rhodes can vouch for this) however they arnt bullet proof. And when something goes wrong its normally never just a simple fix. To replace a gear correctly you end up having to undo everything to free the gear case, then take the gear case apart, then put it all back together, then mount it all back up into the truck.

This also doesn't account for the high quality lipos needed to run the TWO brushless systems.

In retail price, my electronics (motors, escs, recivers, servos etc) cost about as much as 3 traxxas 2wd stampedes retail for.

Wheely Kings are great.

Sorta

I started with one years ago. There great fun, however they are slow which many find as a HUGE turnoff(like 11mph slow). Also the transfer case and differential gears are trash, especially if you dabble into brushless systems. In stock form I have yet to have a problem running the HD diff set and stock trans.

But for 200 bucks it looks and drives just as a short wheelbase monster truck would.

Man your fortunate to get to go to such a beautiful place like the grand canyon. Are those stock wraith four-link bars on the rear of your roll cage because that was a great idea if they are.
