If Todd wins, this will be the third time in a row that someone defended their racing title. Meents from 2011-2012, Anderson (Adam) from 2013-2014. It'll be the fifth successful defense overall, with Meents being the only one to do it twice, from 2000-2002, and 2011-2012 as you said. John Seasock in Batman did it in 2007 and 2008.
