  3. This is my first track I'm uploading on here. It is a PENDA style race course from the 90's. If features and couple different styles from those tracks. It is a long drag over hills, cars and even a slight dip in the track. The freestyle is a modern take on some obstacles from the past few years. I think it turned out rather well for being one of my first tracks I've made.

  4. Well after many months of procrastinating, this track has finally made it's way back into Blender and now up for download. This is my first track I have released that uses my new skyline system and transparent lighting. Hope you guys enjoy!

  8. Just to give you guys a feel for this track before the final version is released, here is the QUALIFYING version. The racing and freestyle version will be uploaded together later tonight. A full credits section will be given in the final upload, but I will do a quick one for now.

    Huge shout out to Dave Collard for allowing me to remake this track, and help from Johan Seminario, Danny Mackey, and David Stewart for helping me make everything look like it should. I would also like to thank all the beta testers that I had, and just anyone I may have missed who helped me in completing this.

  9. This was a fun track to make. Took me around 2 weeks and barely came across any problems unlike all my other tracks. Overall this is a tricky course so be sure to drive on it carefully. I made a new stadium from scratch this time with a tunnel that extends around the stadium. Other than that, have fun!

  18. Mankato Speedway is yet another track that I first created in MTM2. At the time, it was created/set in the 1980’s Renegades TNT Monster Truck Challenge era. Inspiration came from watching the Renegades TNT Monster Truck Challenge at Toledo Ohio. The original track hosted three different versions of racing: Drag, U-Turn (J-Turn) and of course, Figure 8.

    I had wanted to bring the track to RoR, and in doing so, bring it back with a modern day setting. Before I began construction of the track, Mark Colineri offered me the wonderful opportunity to construct a challenging Figure 8 track for his ORL league. All Mark wanted was for it to be of a Figure 8 layout, and for it to be a driver’s course. Thus, I offered up Mankato to play host to the ORL for this event.

    During construction, I enlisted JR Seasock to help with freestyle obstacle ideas/forms, and course layout. Eventually this lead to JR being enlisted into the DTC. This is our first track that we have created together. We brainstormed ideas, and JR greatly helped in this tracks development. From realizing the octagonal hit, to the creative idea of the triangular bus obstacle. Even down to the light poles that dot the track. JR played a heavy roll in this track’s development. It’s because of his help that this track is as good as it is.

    Proudly, Mankato Speedway hosts the ORL Figure 8 Shootout!

  19. Traviss McCarthy Center – 1980’s RedMan/TNT Monster Truck Challenge

    Traviss McCarthy Center is yet another track I created in MTM2. Nearing completion, it fell by the way side, never completely finished, or released. Now in RoR/Sim-monsters, this track has been reborn and fully realized!

    Huge attention to detail was paid in the re-creation of this track in an attempt to make a venue that looked, felt, and screamed 1980’s TNT Motorsports. Hours of watching TNT event footage. Careful scrutinization of the sponsors and logos. All of this was taken into consideration in the attempt to make a custom TNT style event that not only replicated the look and feel of a TNT Motorsports event, but to attempt to take you back in time to such an event.

    Important notes: This track features a working pulling sled. Unfortunately you can’t control movement of the weight bar from the vehicle pulling the sled. This sled, however can be driven, repositioned, and more importantly, reset to its spawn point.

    The only vehicle I have found that can be attached to this sled is the 1st Gen Dodge Cummins by Box5diesel. You can get this vehicle here: http://www.rigsofrods.com/repository/view/1275

    The sled used on this track is also originally done by Box5diesel, redone by jerom. It is The Black Fury sled. You must download this and install it to see/use it on this track: http://www.rigsofrods.com/repository/view/3891

    To use the sled, you must back the vehicle up to where the chain is on the ground. Mouse drag the chain over the hitching ball, and press the L key on your keyboard. If you see the indicator light up saying “Load Locked”, then the sled has been successfully attached the hitch point.

    All the on track props (hay bales, pennant flags, Christmas tree, etc.) have been set with no-collide properties.

    For fun, the Truck Shop is in place for you to swap between your favorite trucks anytime you like.
